Coach Steven Goldstein
Steven Goldstein brings elite-level playing experience and a modern, development-driven approach to coaching and instruction at Common Sense Baseball. A former Division I standout and College World Series participant, Steven specializes in developing fundamentally sound hitters with advanced baseball IQ, efficient movement, and a competitive mindset.
A Long Island native, Steven starred at St. Dominic High School, earning 3× All-Conference honors and being named the #1 prospect on Long Island by Blue Chip Prospects. He continued his career at Stony Brook University, where he earned Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American honors and helped lead the Seawolves to the 2012 College World Series, highlighted by a go-ahead home run in the Super Regional against LSU.
He later transferred to the University of Kansas, competing in the Big 12 Conference, where he faced elite national arms on a weekly basis and further refined his approach to hitting and high-level competition.
During his collegiate career, Steven also played in some of the country’s most competitive summer leagues — the Cape Cod League, Northwoods League, NYCBL, and ACBL—appearing in 118 total games and gaining exposure to professional-level environments.
